Cheryl Parker will take you to 3 local craft breweries on the West End of Portsmouth where you will sample a favorite beer of the brewer, hear about their operation, and have a chance to order more beer while we chat about everything from beer science, to local history. We'll even pass by the Fran Jones Brewyard, which was the biggest ale producer before prohibition as well as talk about the modern beer scene, including the brewery, courses, and analysis lab at UNH! We will be taking a van from the hotel to the West End and back. Cheryl will also point out the two other breweries in downtown Portsmouth and their history, both great places to end your tour with lunch or dinner. |
